Charts for your plant

Plants are full of data that nobody looks at. A chart earns its place when it helps someone decide: slow down, intervene, keep going. Chart Builder turns your process data into charts your operators read at a glance — on the panel where they work, not on a separate dashboard. You choose the type, connect your series, and set thresholds, axes and legend without writing code.

Available types

Line and area charts for trends, bars for comparisons, pie for proportions, scatter and radar for analysis, gauges for live values — plus high-performance trends for dense industrial traces. Thresholds, alarm zones, measurement cursors and zoom are built in. The export is ready for your HMI or SCADA — multi-brand, multi-platform.

IN THREE STEPS

CHOOSE

Start from the right chart type

Lines for trends, bars for comparisons, gauges for live values. Every type comes pre-configured with readable axes, legend and grid.

CHOOSE

CONNECT

Link your series to your plant tags

Set up series, units, thresholds and alarm zones in one panel. The live preview shows how the chart behaves — the real data arrives from your signals once the component is in your HMI.

CONNECT

EXPORT

Bring it into your operator panel

One click and you get a component ready to import into your HMI or SCADA project, whatever the brand. The chart you built in the browser is the chart your operators see on the panel.

Yes. The export produces a Custom Web Control you import into your WinCC Unified project — no code to write. WinCC Unified is one of the export targets, alongside WinCC V8.1 and later, FT Optix, AVEVA InTouch, Ignition and web applications for Linux and Windows. DevIBrain is an official ASEM partner (FT Optix) and is completing the official Siemens certification.
